dehydrated, air-dried, freeze-dried.. which is better for my pets? we all know that hydration is especially important for our feline friends, so it is crucial they get as much moisture in their food as they are willing to take.

freeze-drying results in the lowest moisture content of the three processes, thus naturally, freeze-dried treats would have the longest shelf-life, making them the most convenient. however, we believe that oftentimes, the amount of moisture left in these treats tends to affect their flavour and texture, which may potentially be an issue (especially with fussy cats).

but what about dehydrated v.s. air-dried treats? unlike dehydration, air-drying involves a much lower processing temperature, left to evaporate moisture from the treats over a longer period of time. without the high heat, natural vitamins and nutrients would be better preserved, and the result is food that is naturally preserved and tastes their best, without using any artificial preservatives.

using only the freshest, leanest ingredients there are and meticulously air-dried over long hours in small batches. we rigorously test each and every batch of treats not only with our furry pals but ourselves- after all we're only comfortable with feeding them what we'd eat. this way, you can be assured you're only giving them the very best.
